Dr. Sherry Thaxton from NASA visit HPNE Lab
It was a great pleasure to brief Dr. Sherry Thaxton from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration about our ongoing research work. She did her Ph.D. in Biomechanics/Human Factors Engineering from the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, & Systems Engineering - at Texas Tech University in 2009 under the supervision of Dr. James Smith. Our students were also excited and didn't miss this opportunity to ask her about their future career opportunities at NASA.

Dr. Laurel Kuxhaus, Program Director of Biomechanics and Mechanobiology for the National Science Foundation visit HPNE Lab
Suman Chowdhury, Ph. D. and his team recently welcomed Dr. Laurel Kuxhaus, Program Director of Biomechanics and Mechanobiology for the National Science Foundation, to their campus. Dr. Kuxhaus, who also serves as Associate Professor of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering at Clarkson University, visited the lab and other facilities to learn more about their research efforts.
